Vitaspan

Everything Vitaspan does

Records, medications and reminders, visits, your care circle, and the AI in Vitaspan Plus.

Less to remember, less to type

Medications with a schedule for every dose, notifications that keep your family and doctors up to date, and medical records that arrive by themselves. Each one says when it comes: at launch, or in the update right after it.

Every dose of every medication

At launch
  • Twice a day, every 8 hours, or in the morning and at bedtime: a medication has a dose for each time you take it.
  • Each dose at a set time or a part of the day, and before, with or after a meal when it matters.
  • A reminder for each dose. Touch and hold it and tap Taken to log that dose without opening the app.
  • Each card marks today's doses one by one, and the calendar shows the days you took only some.

Notifications that keep everyone up to date

At launch
  • Reminders for each dose, and the Monday summary: the week's appointments, what's due and the doses coming up.
  • When Claude reads a new result or you finish a visit, it can write an update for each person in your care circle, in their language. You read it, then send it from Mail or WhatsApp.
Next update
  • A daily or weekly summary for each person: what's new and why it matters, the questions for the doctors and every open action item. Vitaspan reminds you when it's due, Claude writes it when you tap, and you send it in one tap.
  • A notification when something new arrives in your health records. It never says what: lock screens show notifications.

Medical records that come to you

Next update
  • Connect your hospitals, clinics and labs once in the Apple Health app and let Vitaspan read them. New lab results, medications, conditions, allergies, immunizations, procedures and visit notes then reach Vitaspan by themselves.
  • Apple's directory lists more than 18,600 US locations, among them hospitals and practices on Epic, Oracle Health, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, MEDITECH and NextGen, and Quest, Labcorp and the VA.
  • Results join your charts with the lab's own flags and reference ranges.
  • Something new, like a result outside the lab's range, a new condition or a change to a medication, becomes a question for your doctor in Up next, and on your doctor's page in Visits when the record names them.
  • Vitaspan keeps your records even when the Health app no longer has them, like the older ones from a provider that shares only recent results.

Health Records works with providers in the US, the UK and Canada, the countries where Apple offers it in the Health app.

Also in the next update

Next update
  • A medical summary for any doctorA PDF of your history, medications, latest results and the trend charts you pick, in English or Spanish. It's made on your iPhone, and you choose who gets it.
  • History, one card per kindWhat you entered and what your records say share one card each for conditions, surgeries and allergies, without repeating each other.
  • Each document on one pageWhat Claude read from a document sits right under it. Rename it, read it again, or delete it with everything it added.
  • A wellbeing checkA short wellbeing check every two weeks on the Wellbeing tab, with your trend over time.

Vitaspan shows what your lab reports, with its own flags and ranges, and helps you prepare your questions. What a result means for you is for your doctor to say, and what Claude writes isn't medical advice.

Everything else your health needs

One place for your records, your days and your doctors.

Everything in one place

  • What your watch, ring or scale records in the Health app from Apple: sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability, steps, workouts, weight and body composition.
  • Lab reports, imaging, letters and prescriptions as a PDF or a photo, read into results and to-dos.
  • Your results over time in charts, with the lab's own ranges.
  • Search everything: to-dos, results, documents, visits, care team and medications.

Every day

  • Medications with a dose for each time you take them, each with a reminder you can answer from the notification.
  • Snap your plate, a nutrition label or a barcode, then slide to the share you ate.
  • Fasting, water with a daily goal, workouts with weekly targets, a sleep score and your mood.
  • Your last 7 days in every tracker, and widgets for your Home Screen and Lock Screen.

Visits and your care team

  • For each doctor: your questions, the to-dos with them, what to bring and your current medications.
  • Note what the doctor said, then add the next appointment and your to-dos in one step.
  • Keep your family or caregivers up to date with short updates you approve before they go.

Ask, with Vitaspan Plus

  • Ask about your own health by typing or by voice. Answers use your own numbers and dates.
  • Nutrition and workout plans built around your goals, and a weekly review.
  • Turn any answer into to-dos.
